The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has signed a contract renewal with MATADOR. The newly inked agreement extends MATADOR's work for the government agency through comprehensive maintenance services for Wintel and Sun servers.

MATADOR Launch Party – "Undress for Success"

It was a time of double celebrations at the iconic Raffles Hotel as MATADOR launched its rebrand, as well as its new software product, the MATADOR® ezBusiness© Suite. The event, hosted by Angela May, saw prominent sports personalities – the NATAS Singapore Women's Everest Team and ESPN Presenter Lip Ooi – share insights on sports and business. Other highlights included demo presentations of the ezBusiness Suite software and a lucky draw that drew wide smiles from the crowd. As the sun set on an evening of camaraderie, cocktails and canapés were enjoyed by everyone.

National Heritage Board Selects MATADOR to Provide IT Services

MATADOR is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the National Heritage Board (NHB) to maintain the server infrastructure of the National Archives of Singapore, a heritage institution under NHB's purview.

NHB is the lead agency championing the development of a vibrant cultural and heritage sector in Singapore. It oversees eight museums and heritage institutions including the National Art Museum, Asian Civilisations Museum and Heritage Conservation Centre.

National Arts Council Champions the Local Arts Scene with MATADOR

MATADOR has won yet another new client from the Singapore government sector – the National Arts Council (NAC). This comes as an added vote of confidence for MATADOR, following partnerships with government agencies such as the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts, Singapore Economic Development Board and International Enterprise Singapore.

MATADOR will provide IT support and services including network management, enabling NAC to champion the local arts scene with a stable and secure IT environment.

NAC was set up as a statutory board in 1991 to spearhead the development of the arts in Singapore. It aims to build a vibrant arts sector by creating an environment where the arts is accessible to all and ensuring artists have the necessary funds and resources to excel.

Temasek Polytechnic Signs Contract Renewal with MATADOR

MATADOR is proud to announce that Temasek Polytechnic (TP) has signed a contract renewal with MATADOR for comprehensive hardware maintenance services. This renewal extends the relationship between the organisations and reflects TP’s confidence in MATADOR. MATADOR Gets an A*STAR

The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) has inked an agreement with MATADOR as part of its efforts to achieve IT infrastructure stability and bolster research and development activities. A*STAR is Singapore's lead agency for scientific research and development under the aegis of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, MATADOR will provide infrastructure management and support services to the five biomedical research institutes of A*STAR. The research institutes are the BioInformatics Institute (BII), the Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI), the Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS), the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN), and the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB).

IE Singapore Chooses MATADOR for IT Services

The Singapore government's growing confidence in MATADOR has reached a new peak. International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, the lead agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for the development of Singapore's external economic wing, has just signed an IT services contract with MATADOR. MATADOR Ensures Timely IT Availability and Support for MICA

The Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) has awarded MATADOR the task of handling IT support and maintenance services for its server infrastructure. The deployment, which kicks off this month, will ensure that the MICA taskforce has the timely IT availability and support it needs to carry out its mission to develop Singapore as a global city for information, communications and the arts.

PUB Awards IT Services Contract to MATADOR

MATADOR continues its strong penetration into the Singapore government sector.

Today, PUB awarded MATADOR a contract to provide IT support and services. PUB is Singapore's national water agency responsible for the collection, production, distribution and reclamation of water in Singapore. Under the terms of the agreement, MATADOR will maintain PUB's application systems, domain controllers, file and print servers, and devices connected to the servers in locations throughout Singapore, including the PUB Data Centre.

With the Singapore government identifying water as a new growth sector and about S$330 million to be invested in water research and development in the next five years, MATADOR will play a strategic role in supporting PUB's mission to continually improve the quality of public service to Singaporeans.

MATADOR Wins EDB Contracts

As the economy continues to churn out bad news, MATADOR is beating all pessimism by continuing a strong traction into the Singapore government sector with another new client win.

In February 2009, MATADOR won a total of three new contracts from Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). Under the terms of the contracts, MATADOR will maintain the agency's server infrastructure by undertaking diagnosis, backup, patch management and issue resolutions on hardware.

This task order was awarded to MATADOR because of its cost-effectiveness and proven track record.

MATADOR's IT support and services will assist EDB in planning and executing strategies to grow the Singapore economy – a mission that is especially critical in troubled economic times.

MATADOR Wins Contract to Maintain Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Server Infrastructure

MATADOR takes to the schools again, winning a contract to maintain Ngee Ann Polytechnic's server infrastructure which consists of a whopping 57 server units. The established tertiary institution has one of the largest student cohorts in Singapore. Traffic volume to the school's network is high and a stable infrastructure is imperative. Under the agreement, MATADOR will provide hardware maintenance services and support including problem diagnosis and resolution, backed by a 24x7x4 Service Level Agreement (SLA), to ensure network availability and stability.

NP is one of Singapore's leading institutions of higher learning. Its eight academic schools offer a range of full-time and part-time diploma courses.

MATADOR Secures Hardware Maintenance Contract from Temasek Polytechnic

In October, MATADOR secured a hardware maintenance contract from Temasek Polytechnic (TP). Under the terms of the contract, MATADOR will cover the network equipments of the Informatics & IT School. The deployment aims to reduce downtime and free internal resources to focus on strategic IT initiatives.

TP is a tertiary education institution in Singapore which offers full-time and part-time diploma courses in the areas of applied sciences, business, design, engineering, humanities and social sciences, informatics and IT to over 15,000 students.
